Asian Idol - How Disappointing!!
I stayed up late last night to catch Asian Idol live result show... only to end up having a huge disappointment with the result.
After watching how all the participants performed the night before, I was sure either Jac from Malaysia or Mau from Philippines would win. In fact, both of them had the better vocals and performances.

However like what many of the judges said, Idol winners are not necessarily based on vocals or performance, but rather on the appeal of the contestant.
I guess with majority of voters being females, they tend to go for cute male contestants.. and for the 1st Asian Idol, there was only one - Hady Mirza from Singapore.

Although our very own Jaclyn Victor did not win, I am still so proud of her. She did very very well... a vocal force to be reckoned with!
